Edwin Kurgat, Charlie Johnson, Cebastian Gentil and Festus Lagat led Iowa State to the men's distance medley relay victory in 9:48.63 at the 110th Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Iowa State hadn't won the DMR since capturing back-to-back titles in 1993-94.
