Iowa won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay in 3:18.06, placed second in the 4x100-meter relay in 40.50, and took third in the 4x400 in 3:08.02, third in the 4x800 in 7:19.13 and third in the distance medley relay in 9:47.73. It marked the third Relay Cup men's team title for the Hawkeyes, along with 2017 and 2018. Woody also speaks about Iowa graduate Erik Sowinski achieving his 200th career sub-1:50 performance in the 800 meters, clocking 1:49.38 to place second behind Isaiah Jewett (1:48.84).
