Sandi Morris' (USA) magical season continued on Thursday evening, as the world indoor silver medalist won the pole vault competition. Morris easily earned the victory with a clearance of 15-5, well ahead of runner-up Katerina Stefanidi (GRE), who cleared an evening best of 14-9.

Morris got the crowd going after her first attempt clearance on 15-5, moving the bar up to a personal best height of 15-11. While Morris narrowly missed on each of her three attempts, she still put on a show and showed there is much more to come from her as the season carries on.
